OUR 6 PILLARS
ACCELERATION

Scientific advances are being made at an ever-increasing pace but taking too long to benefit us. Why? Barriers include uncertainty in regulatory policy and its interpretation, misalignment of incentives for preventative care, research silos that prevent collaboration across disciplines, and lack of public education about geroscience. The Kitalys Institute engages in projects to tackle these obstacles.
PROMOTION

The Kitalys Institute is turning our healthspan objective into a movement. Scientists, business leaders, government officials, age activists, and United Nations representatives are forging ahead—but often still in silos. We rally diverse efforts to realize our common goals.
ADVANCEMENT

By researching solutions to the common causes of aging, also called the hallmarks of aging, geroscientists have identified pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and lifestyle changes that slow, prevent, and even reverse aging. The Kitalys Institute publicizes scientific discoveries and encourages further progress.
TRANSLATION

The Kitalys Institute encourages the translation of evidence-based science into approved products and public health policy. We advocate for a holistic approach, distinguishing ourselves from age-related and geroscience-driven organizations with single-disease and patient-population approaches.
ACCESS

The Kitalys Institute aims to make advances in healthspan available to all. We work with like-minded organizations throughout the world with like-minded organizations, knowing that there is no victory over aging without healthspan equality.
PUBLIC HEALTH

Aging, like climate change, is a public health issue, not a medical or social issue alone. The Kitalys Institute mission is to translate scientific advancements into public health policy and be a resource and catalyst to increasing healthspan worldwide.
